me:: nope. not at all.
dad:: you should get a bigger one.
me:: uhh... i was actually thinking of going smaller.
dad:: NO! you need it bigger so people can SEE it... so I can really see it!
me:: (smiled... yet laughing inside) you don't think mine's big enough?
dad:: no. bigger. (as he nods)... (glancing at the nose ring again) yours doesn't shine very well. it's not a real diamond is it?
me:: no...
dad:: ya. you should get a REAL diamond so it REALLY shines.
